LIFE IS A SCHOOL Learning as a Way of Life

Life is nothing but a mere process of learning. What and how, are left to the learner concerned and that learning is a life long mission needs no debate. Experts and thinkers have been vociferous about the facets of learning at every stage of life. Scriptures and even modern sciences have documented the facts that even fetus in the womb of a mother learns. There is a specific body of knowledge about learning one needs to acquire at every stage of life so as to lead a life in harmony with nature and the five elements. No doubt Samuel Butler had said that “ Life is like a playing a violin in public, and learning the instrument as one goes on”. Learning is never complete even in one’s whole life time too. In short “Learning Infinitely For Ever’ is what life is all about. Ancient Indian scriptures did highlight the learnings associated with each stage of life. Each ritual or practice is based on sound logic and reasoning and is well intentioned too. A humble effort has been made in the book to draw from them, duly supported by the views of modern writers, theorists and even of theologians. The aim in bringing out this book is to let the world know the greatness of some of the writings in the scriptures by culling out the critical aspects of learnings as they apply to each stage of life.
