
Approach to MEDITATION

Meditation is when you are not doing anything at all - physically, mentally, or on any level - when all activity has halted and you are simply being, just being. You can’t perform it, and you can’t practise it; all you have to do is comprehend it. Drop all doing whenever you can find time to just be. Thinking, focus, and contemplation are all actions that can be taken. Even if you are not doing anything for a single instant and are simply at your centre, completely relaxed, that is meditation. And after you’ve mastered it, you can stay in that condition for as long as you like; eventually, you’ll be able to stay in that state for twenty-four hours a day
